President Bush and Elwood

HAIL TO THE CHIEF!

ELWOOD HAD A CHANCE WHEN VISITING THE WHITE HOUSE TO STOP AND TALK TO PRESIDENT BUSH AND HIS WIFE. THE PRESIDENT HAD JUST GIVEN A SPEECH AND WAS OUT ON THE LAWN MEETING SOME VISITORS. HE IS A VERY WARM AND SENSITIVE MAN. ELWOOD WAS HONORED TO BE INVITED BY HIM.
I MET THESE PEOPLE AT THE WHITE HOUSE.
PRESIDENT BUSH INVITED ME TO THE EASTER EGG ROLL ON THE EAST LAWN.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST THRILLS IN ELWOOD’S LONG ADVENTURES WAS THE DAY PRESIDENT BUSH’S SECRETARY CALLED MR. HAND AND INVITED ELWOOD TO THE WHITE HOUSE. ELWOOD TOURED THE WHITE HOUSE, ATTENDED BRIEFINGS, AND ROLLED EASTER EGGS ON THE EAST LAWN. HE WAS VERY SAD TO LEAVE.

WHEN EVER I VISIT ANYWHERE, I LIKE TO STOP BY AND TALK TO SPECIAL FRIENDS.

THE ONLY FAVOR THAT ELWOOD EVER ASKS IS THIS. IF THERE IS A CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL IN THE AREA, HE WANTS TO VISIT IT. ELWOOD TRULY BELIEVES THAT THE GREATEST PLACE FOR "BIG DREAMS" IS WHERE THERE ARE CHILDREN IN NEED. ELWOOD HAS VISITED MANY CHILDREN IN HOSPITALS TO SHARE HIS DREAM THERAPY. SOMETIMES A DREAM IS THE BEST MEDICINE ANYONE CAN GET.

I WANT TO SEE MY LAWYER.

WHILE IN WASHINGTON ELWOOD WAS TAKEN ON A TOUR OF THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT. HE SOON FOUND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO PEOPLE THAT DON'T OBEY THE LAW OF THE LAND. HE WAS VERY GLAD THE DOOR WAS NOT LOCKED AND HE COULD LEAVE RIGHT AFTER THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN. HE HAD A RIGHT SO REMAIN SILENT AND BELIEVE ME HE WAS!
