ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS AN OFFICER NEEDS IS AN I.D. BADGE AND ELWOOD WAS NO EXCEPTION. HE WAS TAGGED THE NEXT DAY AND STARTED HIS TOUR OF DUTY. HE SURE LEARNED FAST WHAT HARD WORK IT IS TO BE A GUARDIAN OF THE PEOPLE.

ELWOOD SITS WITH SOME OF THE MAJOR CRIMES DIVISION IN FRONT OF THEIR MEMORIAL WALL. ELWOOD IS HONORED THE OFFICERS EXTENDED THIS COURTESY TO HIM.

ELWOOD BEGINS TO FEEL AT HOME
WITH THE LOS ANGELES SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT.

ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS I DID WAS TO CHECK IN WITH SHERIFF LEE BACA. HE MADE SURE MY I.D. BADGE WAS ON RIGHT AND THAT MY BADGE WAS CORRECT.

SOME OFFICERS HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT THEIR JOB. I HAD MY PICTURE TAKEN WITH OFFICER X. HE IS AN UNDER COVER OPERATOR WITH BAD MOTORCYCLE GANGS. IT IS HIS JOB TO GET THE BAD PEOPLE OFF THE ROAD, SO THAT HONEST MOTORCYCLE CLUBS DO NOT GET A BAD NAME.
MY BEST BUDDY, BIG BOB, INTRODUCES ME TO THE DEPARTMENT’S CONFISCATED ROOSTER "EL NINO". "EL NINO" WAS ONCE A FIGHTING ROOSTER AND IT'S BIG BOB’S DUTY TO SEE THAT CRUEL THINGS LIKE ROOSTER AND DOG FIGHTING ARE STOPPED.
